Introducing the Ottobock Exopulse Molli Suit

Now available for assessment and trial here in our Perth based clinic with our certified Orthotists.

Following initial assessment we will determine whether the Exopulse Molli Suit is appropriate, and can conduct a 1 hour in clinic trial. Following a successful in clinic trial, a 4 or 8 week home trial is also available to further develop evidence prior to definitive purchase. This device can be funded both privately and through available funding bodies such as the NDIS.

Using reciprocal inhibition to reduce spasticity and to activate weak muscles, the Exopulse Molli Suit can assist in overall comfort, improve function and proprioception.

The Suit relieves spasticity and related pain by stimulating the antagonist of the spastic muscle.

This approach helps reactivate signals that naturally inhibit hyper-reflexive muscle activity, inducing the spastic muscles to relax.

With an aim to result in rebalancing of the body’s natural signaling in affected muscles, which may help patients move more freely, safely, and with less pain.

The Exopulse Mollii Suit is an assistive medical device for pediatric and adult users with:

Exopulse Molli Suit

  • Cerebral palsy (CP),

  • Multiple sclerosis (MS),

  • Stroke,

  • Spinal cord injuries,

  • or other neurological disorders, who suffer from spastic and tense muscles, muscle weakness, and related pain

Ottobock C Brace 2

Chris, our client, standing in his own home for the first time!

Chris was WA’s first Bilateral C Brace user to be definitively funded through the NDIS.

The C-Brace is a technologically advanced, microprocessor-controlled knee joint used in stance control KAFOs. It utilises sensors and advanced algorithms to detect the user's movement and walking phase.

The key benefits of the C-Brace include:

• Stance Control: The C-Brace automatically adjusts the knee joint resistance during the gait cycle, providing support during the stance phase and allowing free knee flexion during the swing phase. This promotes a more natural walking pattern and reduces the risk of trips or falls.

• Real-time Adaptation: The microprocessor technology allows the C-Brace to adapt to various walking speeds, terrains, and inclines, providing consistent support and stability across different environments.

• Reduced Energy Expenditure: By enabling a more efficient gait pattern, the C-Brace reduces the energy required for walking, making it less fatiguing for the user.
